Dr. Andrea Rossi, the inventor of E-Cat technology, has spent his whole professional life working to provide advances in energy production. Here we provide a short history of his work.
Andrea Rossi was born on June 3 1950. In 1973, after completing his Doctorate in Philosophy, he founded the company Dragon in Milan, Italy. In 1978 the company became Petroldragon, specializing in turning organic wastes into fuel oil.
Petroldragon and its subsidiaries became a company worth about $100 million in today’s US dollars. Among Petroldragon’s clients were Agip Nucleare (ENI Group), Bayer, and Sorin (FIAT Group).
In 1995, after an intense defamation campaign organized by the mafia cartel, and its acquaintances in the highest echelons, Andrea Rossi, without any proof or evidence, was accused of money laundering, and arrested and put in prison. This event made news headlines due to the high popularity achieved by Andrea Rossi with his patent to make fuel with wastes.
During his period in jail, all his industries and facilities were seized, all his bank credits were cancelled, and all his clients were forbidden to buy his products.
Rossi, immobilized and insulated in prison could do nothing to remedy the situation, and consequently all the facilities of his group went bankrupt.
In 1996, one year after the beginning of this Calvary, Andrea Rossi was freed on the basis that the Prosecutor discovered that all the accusations that destroyed his work were inconsistent and in good part completely invented.
In the meantime, the Trustee in bankruptcy, completely ignorant of technological issues, never consulting with Dr Rossi, sold all his bankrupt plants worth of tens of million dollars at scrap metal price.
Quite penniless, at the end of 1996 Andrea Rossi emigrated to the USA, and settled in Manchester, New Hampshire. There, with financing from old clients from the golden times of Petroldragon, he incorporated Leonardo Corporation, the company that eventually developed E-Cat technology.
